It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Reed Herbert of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Lutcher, Louisiana, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Reed and Lillian Messina Reed; her child Glinda DiLosa; and her siblings, Mary Tillman and Therald Reed.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Whitmore (Lana), Charles Herbert, IV (Bonnie), Cynthia Herbert, Debbie Herbert, Adam Herbert (Bonnie) and Bridget Maher; her grandchildren, Dennis, Troy, Billy, Denise, Chad, Brandon, Jonathan, Megan, Lauren, Jordan and Ally; and her brother Gerald Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
