She was predeceased by: her former husband William Doerer; her parents, William Carrigan and Helen Carrigan; her sister Carolyn Allemore (Floyd); her son Thomas Doerer; and her grandson Zachary Burkey.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Burkey; her children, Tammy Sanders (Steven), Andrea Hamilton (Mikey), Helen Brindell (Karl), Bruce Burkey (Bella) and Bryan Burkey (Michelle); her grandchildren, David Doerer (Kristen), Christopher Doerer (Annalyse), Joey Sanders, Taylor Steen (Cody), Sean Anderman (Tonita), Hillary Brindell, Kathryn Brindell, Jena Blackledge (Leslie), Drue Burkey and Quentin Burkey; her great grandchildren, Danica Doerer, Christopher Doerer, Jade Doerer, Kennedy Grace Steen, Colton Thomas Steen and Kaylynn Anderman; her brother Donald Carrigan (Deborah); and her daughter-in-law Stacy Doerer.
