He was predeceased by: his son David Donald Cruz; his parents, Jose Maria and Josepha Cruz; and his great grandchild Robert Louis Hamberger IV. He is survived by: his spouse Carmen Cruz; his children, Carmen Cruz Hamberger (Robert), Juan Alberto Cruz Jr., Ana Cruz Klibert (Denis), Julio Enrique Cruz Sr. (late Jaenne) and Dermys Arelis Cruz; his grandchildren, Heather Hamberger Rousseau, Noel Marie Klibert (Lettie), David Joel Klibert (Katie), Victoria Fay Klibert and Julio Enrique Cruz Jr. (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Brent Andreas Rousseau, Fallon Kaylee Rousseau, Jlynne Hamberger, Ronald Hamberger, Larson Nathaniel Klibert, Minden Elizabeth Klibert, Elijah Daniel Klibert, Jacob Gregory Klibert, Solomon Joseph Klibert, Michael Nathaniel Klibert and Camila Sol Cruz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
