He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Neolla Trahant Solito; his daughter Virginia S. Meana; his siblings, Marie S. Giarratano, Daisy S. Scardino, Jules Solito and Victor Solito; and his parents, Domenico Solito and Josephine Verdi Solito.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph D. Solito, Jr. (Lisa), Charles Benedict (Susan) and Connie Benedict Rodrigue (Victor). He is also survived by Loving Papa to his 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
