In loving memory of James Stanley Bassett of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Topeka, Kansas, who departed this world on April 30, 2024 at the age of 71. James Stanley leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bassett and Lois Bassett; his sister Sharon Worley (Ty Worley); and his son Todd West. He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his son Brent West (Stefanie); his grandchildren, Ethan and Allie; and his siblings, Becky Hollier (Mike), Carol Smith (Brad) and Michael Bassett (Gina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations will be helpful to the family.
