Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father James Freeman (Booty); his brother Geary Freeman; and his grandparents, William "Bill" Freeman, Laura Albritton Freeman, Johnny J. Barnett and Minnie Madge Kyzar Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughter Jana Nicole Freeman; and his mother Merle Elizabeth Barnett Freeman. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery (2147 Barnett Rd, Summit, MS 39666).
