It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Joseph LaVenia of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Alyce "Moanie" Thomas LaVenia; his parents, Helen Christie and Joseph Gaetano LaVenia; and his siblings, Eugene Reynolds, Andrew LaVenia and Marilyn Durante.
He is survived by: his children, Veronica "Roni" LaVenia, Christine LaVenia Keen, Guy, Sandra LaVenia, Jr. and Paul LaVenia; his grandchildren, Joseph, Alexis, Jack LaVenia, Jourdan and Jeremey Keen; his great grandchild Liam Thomas Mulligan; and his sister Joanne Padilla. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
