He was predeceased by: his child Shawn Bertrand; his parents, Dallas Bertrand and Ollie Foret Bertrand; and his sibling Pat. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bertrand; his daughter Tina Jilbert; his grandson Collin Jilbert; his great grandchild Olive Jilbert; and his siblings, Sandra, Angie and Steve. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
