He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Porche and Ouida Mae Porche; and his siblings, Craig, Tommy, Brenda (Wanda) and Missy.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Roth Porche; his children, Kellie Porche (Kenny), Heather Handley (Bobby) and Ernest Porche, Jr. (Ara); his stepsons, Chad Sample (Haylie), Corey Sample (Maryann) and Andrew Sample (Bethany); his grandchildren, Matthew Shields, Adam Shields, Evan Shields (Randee), Tre Porche, Dylan Porche, Anna Marie Hilke, Victoria Hilke, Angelina Hilke, Aiden Sample, Addison Sample, Ethan Sample and Jace Sample; his great grandchildren, Paislee Shields and Harlow Knapp; his brother Kevin Porche, Sr. (Robin); his siblings-in-law, Buddy and Dixie; and his friend Raymond Millaudon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
