He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Zapata Campuzano and Ana Maria Camacho Alfaro. He is survived by: his children, Cherie Maria Montoya (Melbin), Ashley Elizabeth Zapata (Dominic Ramos), Marielos Cristina Zapata (Jonathan McNeese) and Bradley Alfonso Zapata (Lynzy Rochelle); his grandchildren, Hayden McNeese, Jonathan Cole McNeese, Abigale Montoya, Lucas Montoya and Camila Montoya; his siblings, Sergio Zapata Camacho (Yadira), Ana Zapata Camacho (Jose Daniel), Bayardo Zapata Camacho (Patricia), Armando Zapata Camacho, Maria Zapata Camacho, Mario Zapata Camacho and Nivia Zapata Camacho; and his former wife Mary Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
