It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Bolaños Malespin of Kenner, Louisiana, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Maria Vargas and Miguel Angel Bolaños Zelaya; and her husband Carlos. She is survived by: her children, Yadira Paz Malespin, Carlos Enrique Malespin (Vicky), Roberto Jose Malespin, Bertha Maria Jouandot (Ronnie), Esmerlada Isabel (Liz), Gustavo Martin Malespin (Karen) and Miguel Alfredo Malespin; and her sister Martha Bolaños. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
