She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Habeney Duplantis and Joseph Adam Duplantis; her husband Ralph Gurtner; her sister Barbara Addie Duplantis Baham; and her brother-in-law Wilburt "Big Jim" Baham.

She is survived by: her nephew Joseph James Baham (Wendy Sable Berndt); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dawn Angela Baham, Julie Baham Gallois (Ryann), Melody Baham Waltz (Shawn), Joseph Baham, Jr. and Stephen Baham. She is also survived by seven great-great nephews and nieces; five great-great-great nephews and nieces.
