He was predeceased by: his parents, Lisandro Pineda and Ernestina Pineda of Pineda; and his siblings, Ella Pineda and Ricardo Pineda. He is survived by: his wife Antonia Orellana; his children, Lourdes McLeod (Lombardo), Carlos Orellana and Juan Alejandro (Melinda); his grandchildren, Lombardo Eric McLeod, Logan Elliott McLeod, Jillian Annalise Orellana, Adriana Elizabeth Orellana, Caitlin Alise Orellana and Emerson Alexis Orellana; and his sister Emerita Pineda.

In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
