He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Esters of Kelly, Robert Esters of Kelly, Nicholas Esters of West Monroe and Marilyn Esters (Dwayland Harris) of West Monroe; his stepdaughter Jeopardy Lord of West Monroe; his siblings, Larry Esters (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, Clifton Dale Esters of Kelly, Ricky Esters of Kelly, Carolyn Coan of Columbia and Deborah Burrows (Ray) of Kelly; and his granddaughter Malaina George of Kelly.
