He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davis Roach, Sr. and Zola Hammonds Roach; and his siblings, Pat Roach, James Hilton Roach (Skillet) and Virginia Elliott.
He is survived by: his children, Rob Roach (Robbie) and Sarah Burdine (Jim); and his grandchildren, John Plaisance (Ilsa), Elizabeth Campbell (Ben), Ashley Smith (Shon), Cody Roach (Chancy), Melinda Taylor (Brent), Mitch Burdine (Gracie), Joey Burdine (Nicole) and Jayme Burdine (Debra). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
