She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary "Fran" Frances Denney and James Wesley Watts; her husband Parkie Lloyd Denney; and her siblings, Patsy Lee Watts and James Herman Watts.
She is survived by: her children, John LaLena (Sandy) and Kim Slaughter (Jim); her grandchildren, Tyler LaLena (Jessica), Nikolaus LaLena (Larissa), Mallory Parker (Maclane), Trent Taylor and Hunter Taylor; and her sisters, Elizabeth Mullins and Marilyn Watts. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Veterans Cemetery (7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA 71047).
