He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Herman and Jessie Mae Whitehead Bruner; and his former wife Mary Ann Hinson Bruner. He is survived by: his sister Margaret Jean Myers; his daughter Sherri Lee Bruner Preston; his grandchildren, Mindi Chassion, Jacob Khan and Orlando Preston; his great grandchildren, Summer and Harmony Khan; and his wife Melonie Bruner.

He spent hours sharing the good news of God's Kingdom until Alzheimer's disease shut him down.
