He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Gray Clay; his daughter Alice Diann Mayfield; his grandchildren, John W. Mayfield (Stephanie) and Melissa Patrick; his sister Mary Lou Clay; and his great grandchildren, Jay Patrick, Clay Patrick, Taylor Mayfield, Skylar Mayfield and Carmen Mayfield.
