He was predeceased by: his fathers, Clinton Owens and Maurice Owens. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Owens; his children, Wayne Owens (Sharon), Mikeal Owens (Tiffany) and Rana Wyatt; his grandchildren, Sadie Owens, Hayden Owens, Mason Owens, Hunter Wyatt (Jessie), Blake Wyatt, Trent Daugherty (Tara), Tiffany Busch (Michael), Chase Anderson (Ava) and Cammie Anderson; his great grandchildren, Bella Busch and Larkin Daugherty; and his sisters, Carolyn Hanry (Bob) and Brenda Elmore (Jim).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (6295 Williams Rd, Keithville, LA 71047). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
