He was predeceased by: his parents, Joab Cotton and Elizabeth Cotton; his mother-in-law Opal Clower; his siblings, Jean, Jane Cotton, Arthur Cotton, Bessie Hayes, Joab Cotton, Jr., James Cotton, Theodore Cotton, Elizabeth Leach, Brandon Cotton and Pete Cotton; and his great grandchild Zoe Cotton.
He is survived by: his wife Marjo Clower Cotton; his children, Jackie Cotton of Robeline, LA, Bart Cotton (Jeanie) of Natchez, LA and Jacquetta Tanner (Michael) of Robeline; his grandchildren, Brian Cotton, Erin Ramsey (Matt), Colin Carroll (Beau), Kinsey Kelly (Robert), Codie Goings (Wade), Brent Tanner (Kelli), J. P. Cotton (Staci) and Clarke Tanner (Rebekah); and his siblings, Curtis Cotton, Ray Cotton (Dorothy), Bo Cotton and Dolly Miller. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
