He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jones and Mamie Jones; his siblings, Lurline Almond, Donald Jones and Everette Jones; and his grandson Peyton Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Phail Dean Jones; his children, Danny Jones (Patricia), Cheryl Jones, Amy Fortenberry (Darin) and Allison Lane; his grandchildren, Michel Duvall (Moss), Chelsea Dykes (Stephen), Spencer Lane (Chloe), Mayson Lane and Gianna Lane (Nick); his great grandchildren, Ashton Dykes, Brynn Duvall, Tucker Duvall, Jaxon Dykes, Ellie Duvall, Penelope Lane, Rowan Dykes and Launa Gongre; and his sister-in-law Janis Stroud (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and a cousin.
