With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Cooper of Keithville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Willie Wilson and Lillie Ann Wilson; her husband Taris Cooper; her son Dean Cooper; and her siblings, Freida Holland and James Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Cooper (Thelma) and Sharon Briggs (Ricky). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society and Providence Road Baptist Church.
