He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gibbs; his children, Philip Gibbs (Wendy) of Carthage, Jonathan Gibbs (Michelle) of Applebee, TX, George Gibbs of Keatchie, LA, Eva Smith (Robert) of Keatchie, LA, Angela Gibbs of Carthage and Elizabeth Norris; and his siblings, James Gibbs (Beverly) of Logansport, LA and Dorothy Gibbs of Longview, TX. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
