She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie McElveen and Mildred Lagene Shockley McElveen; and her brother Kenneth Ray Shockley. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Sonnier; her daughter Regina Sonnier; her grandchildren, Joey Sonnier and Stacie Sonnier; and her great grandchild Cooper Hutchins.
