He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Choate and Melvin Choate; his sister Rachael Choate; and his great-aunts, Lelia Vincent and Allie Pearl Miller (Doris Miller).
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Tuner (Abraham), Timothy Choate, Jr. (Shannon) and Ivan Boutte (Erik); his grandchildren, Matthew, Madison Turner, Vanessa, Destiny and Brianna Pledger; his nephew Danny Choate; and his stepson Rusti Hargrave. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (600 Church Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Pecan Island Community Cemetery.
