He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Simon; his grandchild Angel; his parents, Martin Simon, Jr. and Opal Keen; his brothers, Patrick Simon and Michael Simon; his sister-in-law Patricia Adams; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Lucy Leleux.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Simon of Leleux; his daughter Valerie Marceaux (Kevin) of Kaplan; his siblings, Jo Simon of Lafayette, Margaret Blumberg (Dwayne) of Arizona, Linda Bollich of Bossier City and Tony Simon of Golden, CO; and his grandchildren, Brenden, Taylor, Makenzie and Rylee Marceaux.
