It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Greene Bertrand (Kaplan, Louisiana), who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Darryl L. Bertrand; her parents, Robert "Beno" Greene and Aspasie Gaspard; and her brother Robert Wade Greene. She is survived by: her children, Mobie Bertrand of Kaplan, Mattie Dew (Thomas J.) of Kaplan, Courtney Gaspard (Jason) of Kaplan and Cale Guidry (Barrett) of Kaplan; her grandchildren, Bailey Prejean, Dane Bertrand, Payton Gaspard, Sydney Bertrand, Andre Gaspard and Meryl Guidry; and her sisters, Susan Greene of Kaplan, Linda G. Lege of Kaplan and Cindy Greene (Russ G. Hebert) of Kaplan.
