She was predeceased by: her husband Jean Ovelton Abshire; her sons, Joseph, Tim, Ted and Cary "Garre" Abshire; her grandchildren, Brandon Abshire and Aleah Abshire; and her parents, Joseph Campbell and Edmay LaPoint.
She is survived by: her children, Carson Abshire (Verlene) of Kaplan, Rhonda A. Davis (Robbie) of Fairhope, AL and Krisen Abshire of Kaplan. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
