It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Ann Touchet Schexnider of Kaplan, Louisiana, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Lovelis Touchet and Verlene Rose Schexnayder. She is survived by: her husband Chad Schexnider of Lafayette; her daughters, Heather Knaps (Jason) of Youngsville and Amber Werner (Quinten Deshotel) of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Kaden Knaps and Madilyn Deshotel; and her brothers, Woody Touchet of Kaplan, Lawson "Joe" Touchet of Kaplan and Carlton.
