He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schexnaider Chauvin of Kaplan; his daughter Phyllis Chauvin (Charlie Dubois) of Abbeville; his grandsons, James Phillip Moreland and Evan Louis Gary of Abbeville; his siblings, Rebecca Ann LeBlanc (Steve) of Cow Island and Raywood Jude Chauvin (Christine) of Abbeville; his nieces and nephews, Valerie Duplantis, Abby Trahan, Ralph Chauvin III, Joshua LeBlanc, Mark LeBlanc, Reed Harrington, Jacob Perry, Damon Schexnaider and Brandon Chauvin; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Schexnaider of Kaplan, Barbara Trahan of Erath and Betty Chauvin of Abbeville.
