She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Smith and Louise Broussard; and her siblings, Mary Kamel, Elizabeth Blanchard, Jerry Smith, Preston Smith and Harris Blanchard.
She is survived by: her husband Harris Mire; her children, Sherman Mire (Sean Marlow) and Christine Bourque (Nathan); her brother Jessie Smith (Gussie); her grandchildren, Spencer Mire, Ian Mire, Hunter Gaspard, Doies Gaspard III, Nathan Bourque Jr., Dillon Bourque, Hailey Gaspard, Tiffany Simon and Breean Greene; and her great grandchildren, Adelie Gaspard, Kash Gaspard, Oakley Abshire, Jaxon Gaspard, Noah Simon, Aiden Simon, Noah Bourque, Vivian Bourque, Emmilean Gaspard and Grant Greene.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan On (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A procession was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (602 Church Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
