She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaston Babineaux and Avie Broussard; her husband Galvey L. Mire; and her siblings, Florine B. LeBlanc, Faye Broussard, Preston J. Babineaux and Dallas L. Babineaux.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Mire (Bertha), Mark Mire (Allyson Trahan) and Barbara Hebert (Roy Neal); her grandchildren, Jennifer Mire, Kelly Mire, Scott Mire, Camille Hebert and Catherine H. Delcambre; her great grandchildren, Emily R. Dartez and Theo Mire; and her brother Sigmund Babineaux (Yvonne).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Lou can be made to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church building fund.
