He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Menard and Emily Jacqueneaux; his siblings, Edward Menard, Edmond Carl Menard, Telsie McNeese, Audrey Oathoudt, Edna Brasseaux, Goldie Hanks, Louverta Menard, Ida Robinson, Grace Menard and Emily Degeyter; and his siblings-in-law, Adele Menard and Roy Oathoudt.
He is survived by: his close friend Janet M. Menard of Carencro; his children, Steve Menard (Sara) of Duson and Jewell Menard of Kaplan; his stepson Thomas Myers of Kaplan; his grandchildren, Steven Tyler Menard, Hayden Domingue and Samantha Isam; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Myers and Kara Fay Myers; his great grandchildren, Baylor Grace Domnigue and Stetson Myers; his siblings, Davis Menard of Cankton, Isore Faul of Duson and Edmonia Goulas of Carencro; and his brother-in-law Emery Hanks of Lake Charles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
