He was predeceased by: his parents, Pershing Nunez and Goldie Copell; and his brother Anthony "Pazoo" Nunez. He is survived by: his wife Stephenie Shay Nunez of Pecan Island; his son Karl John Nunez (Nancy) of Lafayette; and his sisters, Deborah Mire of Charenton, Ella Mae Little of Grand Chenier and Karla Nunez of Pecan Island. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
