He is survived by: his wife Betty Herring; his children, Pamela Zamora of Abbeville, Sandra Landry (Reynold) of Kaplan, Russell J. Herring (Catherine) of Loreauville and Michael Kyle Herring of Lafayette; and his siblings, Rickey Herring (Marilyn) of Victoria, TX and Patsy Thompson (Duke) of Potosi, TX.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
