He is survived by: his wife Deborah Richard of Kaplan; his children, Scott Richard (Holly) of Prairieville, Nicholas Richard (Jennifer) of Baton Rouge and Stacey Bint (Andrew) of New Zealand; his grandchildren, Preston, Reagan, Christopher, Jonathan, Emily, Samantha, Coen and Kale; and his brother James Richard (Sandy) of Lafayette.
