He is survived by: his children, Goldie Bengtson (Les) of Abbeville and Melvin Trahan (Karen) of Kaplan; his grandchildren, Jessica Lewis of Metairie, Coby Bengtson, Rebecca "Becky", Maddie Bengtson, Nicole Bengtson of Abbeville, Brandon Trahan of Orlando and Denise Carlson of Kaplan; his wife JoAnn Boudreaux Trahan; his parents, Dua Trahan and Inez Trahan; his son Lovelace Trahan; and his brother Dudley Trahan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
