It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Timothy Burdette of Kaplan, Louisiana, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Okey and Eva Burdette; his brother Joseph Burdette; and his nieces and nephews, Meridith and Paul Burdette.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ciabotti Burdette; his sons, Timothy G. Burdette (Karen) and Andrew Louis Burdette (Andrea); his grandchildren, Carter Burdette, Ava Burdette, Meredith Burdette and Grayson Burdette; and his siblings, Mark Burdette, Stephen Burdette, Rebecca Saunders and Deborah B. Watkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory be made to the Kaplan Food Bank, or the Kaplan American Legion.
