She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelis Richard and Domatile Bertrand Richard; her husband Roy; her son Michael; her siblings, Irene Istre, Lawrence and Daniel; and her grandparents, Aristle, Edoline Monceaux Richard, Clerpher and Eranie Mire Bertrand.
She is survived by: her godson Joel Vincent; her sons, Delwyn Dartez (Anna) of Kaplan and Don Dartez (Vicky) of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kelly, Kerri Beth, Lucas (Amber), Schuyler (Valerie), Amber (Kyle) and Nicholas (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Zoey Clare, Lane, Sadie, Tucker and Ainsley Rose; and her sister Deanna Spell (Ronnie) of Lyons Point.
