Betty Suire Guidry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Suire Guidry of Kaplan, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Tracey Guidry and Wilfred Joseph "Boo" Guidry III; her parents, Delma Paul Suire and Adia Bourque; her siblings, Ruby Nunez, Hilda Miller, Lucy Faulk, Freddie Suire, Obra Suire and Wilson Suire; her granddaughter Cherise Harrington; her great grandchild Zeus Dean Guidry; and her son-in-law Douglas Beck.
She is survived by: her husband Wilfred "Wishbone" Guidry, Jr. of Kaplan; her children, Danny "Boy" Guidry of Kaplan, Anthony Guidry (Evelyn) of Kaplan, Steven Guidry (Alex) of Broussard, Annette Harrington of Franklin, Priscilla Beck of Kaplan, Barbara (David Trahan) of Kaplan, Jackie (Ronnie Daigle) of Kaplan and Christina Bengtson of Kaplan; and her siblings, Wilfred Suire of Rayne, Lucille Suire of Lake Arthur and Mary Suire of Crowley. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Anne Cemetery (17315 Lionel Rd, Abbeville, LA 70510).
