Bertha Meaux Mouton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Meaux Mouton (Kaplan, Louisiana), who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Joseph Mouton; her granddaughter Erica Faith Mire; her parents, Lodise Joseph Meaux, Sr. and Mae Connor; and her siblings, Anna Louise Breaux, Billie Joyce Baudoin, Lodise Joseph Meaux, Jr. and John Whitney Meaux.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Katherine James (Paul), Norma Joetta Mire (Kerry), Don Randall Mouton (Darlene), Bethany Lois LeBlanc (Roger) and Lois Ann Melancon (Greg); her grandchildren, Amanda LeMaire, Jacob Herpin, Chad Mire, Jamie Mouton, Ryan Mouton, Misty Gaspard, Matt LeBlanc and Mollie Melancon; and her great grandchildren, Colette, Chloe LeMaire, Presli, Tyler, Ella, Tessa, John Herpin, Cole, Jack, Stella Mire, Lacie, Lexie Toups, Layne, Nathan Mouton, Zoe, Kyleigh and Graham LeBlanc.

Many years ago she made the decision to donate her body to science and didn't want any services to be held.
