She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Preston Mire; her daughter Patricia Marie Mire; her parents, Exavier Marceaux, Sr. and Laura Marceaux; and her siblings, Israel Marceaux, Willie Marceaux, Frank Marceaux, Columbus Marceaux and Mary Evelyn LeMaire.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Mire of Kaplan, Claude Abshire (Rebecca) of Kaplan and Donna Mire Abshire (Billy) of Groesbeck, TX; her siblings, Laura (John Guidry, Sr.) of Cow Island and Exavier Marceaux, Jr. of Abbeville; and her grandchildren, Paul Abshire, Jonathan Abshire, Jennifer Abshire, Anthony Pico, Brandon Duplantis, Shantel Mire, Shelly Mire, Jade Abshire and Kaley Abshire. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
