It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie M Bessard (Kaplan, Louisiana), who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mouton, Sr. and Rose Simpson Mouton; her husband Preston Bessard; her son Kerry Lee Julien; her brothers, Memphis Mouton (Gladys) and Willie Mouton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Demetrius Mouton and Priscilla Bernadette Julien; and her great grandchild Jaylon Moss.
She is survived by: her children, Annie Hart (Gary), Amanda Guidry (Sam), Henry Charles, Jr. (Gladys), Chester Charles, Terry Charles and Otis Julien, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Marion Bessard and Milton Bessard. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
