He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Miller and Marie Vaniola Dugas Miller; his son-in-law Bryan Ortego; and his great grandchildren, Beaulah, Ella, Evelyn, Wilma, Leta, Roman, Aurelia, Mable, Nola and Numa.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bergeron Miller of Opelousas; his children, Shirley Edmond (Nelson) of Opelousas, Judith Ventre (Karl) of Lafayette, Marinell Ortego of Opelousas and Terry Miller (Janet) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Tricia Williams, Misty Fontenot, Guy Edmond, Mandy Patton, Emile Ventre, Marie Bacelieri, Christopher Ventre, Paul Ortego, Daniel Miller and Sarah Miller; and his brother Wilton Miller. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
