He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Botley, Sr. and Bessie Bias Botley; his son Glynn Botley; and his siblings, Jessie Lee Botley, Georgia Mae Jackson, Queen Ester Pierre, Daniel Botley and Joseph Botley.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Botley; and his children, Johnnie Botley Lake (Linda), Geraldine Captain (Ray Charles) of Lake Charles, Gayle Botley (Cheryl) of Beaumont, TX, Bernadine Galloway (James) of Lake Charles and Keith Botley (Patricia) of Katy, TX.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
