He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cox Doughty of Dry Creek; his children, Richard Doughty (Jenny Doughty) of Lafayette, LA, Charlotte Avery (Jay Avery) of Houston, TX and Sarah Doughty of Lafayette, LA; his sisters, Nancy Magnani (Frank Magnani) of Palmetta Bay, FL and Cindy Jernigan (Eddie Jernigan) of Columbus, MS; his niece Lisa Klutts (Jeremy Klutts); and his nephew John Lamar Jernigan (Carla Jernigan). He is also survived by grandchildren, 2 great nephews, and 3 great nieces.
