He was predeceased by: his parents, Melda Brady Petit and Claude Petit, Sr.; and his sister Glenda Accardo (late Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chenier Petit; his children, Kenneth Petit (Elizabeth) and Angela Cole (Philip); his grandchildren, Tara Petit, Emily Babin (Lucas) and Adam Petit; and his siblings, Karen Poirrier (Buddy), Judy Petit, Gerolyn Roussel (Perry), Murphy Petit, Raymond Petit, Wayne Petit and Dale Petit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
