He was predeceased by: his brothers, Henry Wilks, Harold "Buddy" Wilks, Alvin Wilks, Rufus Wilks, Julian Wilks and Jerry Wilks; and his friends, Stacy Sharp and Bubba Jones.
He is survived by: his son Joshua Lee Wilks; his granddaughter Everlee Grace; and his sisters, Josie King (Wayne) of Gilbert and Mary Stephens (Harold) of Wisner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
