She was predeceased by: her husband Marion Smith; her parents, Whitlock Cross Mount and Leola Burley Mount; her children, Gloria Smith Otwell, Rhonda Smith Blackwell and Michael Wayne Smith; and her siblings, Christine Marie Griffin, Velda Mae Marshall, Margaret Bernice Carter and William Darnell Mount.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Smith Beatty (Gerry) of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Carol Mount Prudhomme (Robert) of Jonesville, LA; and her grandchildren, Tori Shaw, Trey Hinson (Bambi), Tabitha Hinson, Myles McMillen, Shea Blackwell, Grant Michael Smith, Ashley Perdew (Ryan) and Seth Beatty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
