He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Smith and Evelyn Smith; his daughter Teresa Stafford; his wife Sue Smith; and his siblings, Gilbert Smith, Joe Smith, Louise Rainey and Elsie Coleman.
He is survived by: his daughter Joy LaCroix (Joe) of Jena; his grandchildren, Lindsay Ferrington (Jamie) of Haughton, Valorie Lurry (Brent) of Keithville, Tessie Doughty (Justin) of New Orleans, Rachel Deville (Matt) of Pineville and Ali Morace (Austin) of Texarkana, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Ava, Dierk, Emma, Elliot, Hawk, Gunner and Harley Grace.
